Plans for the development of a new office building known as B7 at Thorpe Park in Leeds have been given the go ahead.

Thorpe Park Developments Ltd, supported by Zerum and Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher, submitted a reserved matters application to Leeds City Council earlier this year for plot B7 at the development.

The proposal covers the construction of a six-storey office building providing about 62,000 sq ft of floorspace.

The building will feature a double height atrium and reception area, with flexible floorplates to suit business requirements.

A design and access statement submitted as part of the application said: "Overall the design should raise the bar for current and future office provision at Thorpe Park. This plot is seen as a key development opportunity to provide an architectural 'beacon' for the site.
